MAENA project is actively driving the adoption of Small Water Cycle Restoration (SWCR) practices, with a focus on optimizing on-farm water use efficiency. Built on a participatory approach, the project ensures that local farmers and communities are directly involved in shaping sustainable water solutions.
In this context, CIHEAM Bari launches a call for participation to identify and engage farmers operating in the Puglia region, to be supported through two distinct pathways. Each pathway provides tailored support consistent with the specific needs and willingness to engage the applicants.
Interested applicants are invited to carefully review the Call for Participation attached and submit their offers in accordance with the provided instructions.
The application process is conducted in a single phase. Each applicant shall submit a complete application by filling in the template provided in Annex A and attaching all required supporting documents listed in Section 6.4 of these Terms of Reference. A single applicant may apply either for Group 1 or for Group 2, indicating the preference in the Application form; the evaluation committee may, if appropriate, re-assign an applicant from Group 1 to Group 2 on the basis of ranking and availability of slots.
Selected applicants will be notified by e-mail and invited to sign a beneficiary agreement with CIHEAM Bari within the deadline set out in the notification letter. The shortlist of selected applicants per each group will also be published on MAENA project website.
