Seminar “Forgotten foods to feed the future” – CIHEAM Bari (Documentation Center), 7th December 2017

06 December 2017

CIHEAM Bari announces a seminar on “FORGOTTEN FOODS TO FEED THE FUTURE”, which will be given by Professor Sayed Azam-Ali, CEO, Crops For the Future (CFF) and Chair in Global Food Security, University of Nottingham.

The event will be held at Documentation Center of CIHEAM Bari Institute on Thursday, 7th December from 3 to 4 p.m.

The Seminar will focus on plant-based forgotten foods and the “Forgotten Foods Network”, a global initiative that collects and shares information on foods, recipes and traditions that are in danger of being lost. Nowadays, living in an era of climate change and associated global challenges we need to adapt our food system – sooner rather than later – and renovate agriculture, for the good of humankind, for health and for the planet.
