The long-term objective of the action is to improve the agri-food industry (quality and quantity) and to diversify the agriculture markets. These improvements have to be done according with the rules of the EU acquis. The counterpart of the project is the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. CIHEAM Bari, as implementing agency, will have the overall coordination/management and responsibility of the project implementation. The overall objective/impact of the project is: The Government of Ukraine has increased its capacity to develop the agri-food industry and to diversify the agriculture markets, according to the rules of the chapter 11 of the EU acquis.
The intervention will take place in central Odessa Oblast, specifically in the districts of Berezivka, Rozdilna, and Odessa. The project will be managed from central offices in Odessa, with local centers established in each district.
