11 June 2025 – 10:00 to 11:30 (CEST) – A global webinar will officially launch the IPPC Plant Health Campus, a new free e-learning platform dedicated to plant health, developed by the IPPC Secretariat and the FAO elearning Academy, with support from the European Union.
Designed to transform access to phytosanitary training, the platform offers certified courses, practical guides, and operational tools that can be accessed anytime, anywhere, even with limited internet connectivity.
The IPPC Plant Health Campus is tailored for plant protection officers, trainers, technical staff, government officials, and plant health professionals, aiming to:
✔️ Develop individual knowledge and learning
✔️ Support national training programs and capacity development efforts
✔️ Strengthen integration of plant health into academic and university curricula
The webinar will include a live tour of the platform, testimonials from experts already using it in the field, and practical suggestions on how to integrate the Campus into personal learning pathways, national training systems, and technical cooperation efforts.
The event is open to the entire global plant health community and will be held in English, with simultaneous interpretation in French.
