AgroServ Launches its 5th Open Call to Support Research and Innovation in Agroecology

12 May 2026

AgroServ’s 5th Open Call is now open, offering researchers, professionals and stakeholders access to transnational scientific data, specialised expertise, experimental sites, advanced technologies and laboratories across Europe. The initiative promotes collaboration among experts in chemistry, biology, agronomy, ecology, bioengineering, social sciences and economics to foster innovative approaches in agroecology and sustainable agriculture.

Starting from Open Call #5, applicants will also be able to request access to services from a single Research Infrastructure (RI), allowing proposals to be more specifically tailored to individual research needs. Nevertheless, all projects must clearly demonstrate their contribution to the agroecology transition. At the same time, AgroServ continues to strongly encourage transdisciplinary projects involving multiple Research Infrastructures, in order to maximise scientific integration and research impact across Europe.

Funded by the European Union for the 2022–2027 period, AgroServ aims to address major agricultural challenges, including climate change adaptation, biodiversity protection, sustainable food production and the preservation of natural resources through a “One Health” approach.

The project brings together 73 partners and provides access to 143 Research Services through a common European portal, supporting both academic and industry-led research as well as evidence-based policymaking. The deadline for project submissions is set for 8 June 2026 at 16:00 (CEST).

For further information and to access the full announcement, applicants are invited to consult the dedicated AgroServ webpage at the link below.
