Ok-Net-Arable - Online course on "Challenges of Organic Arable Farming"

Ok-Net-Arable is a project aiming at increasing the productivity and the quality of organic arable farming in Europe, by improving exchange of knowledge among farmers, farm advisers and scientists. In this framework an online course including material collected and produced by the project will be delivered. The objective of this course, along all its modules, is to enable students and professionals to familiarize with the latest insights, context and concepts of Organic Arable Farming and to provide them new tools and practices to tackle current difficulties related to production and protection.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to develop their own critical thinking, will become familiar with the emerging threats of Organic Arable Farming and the main issues of debate including: soil fertility, nutrient management, pest and disease control, weed management and crop specific issues. Furthermore, trainees will populate community of interest by sharing questions and information about the new trends in organic arable farming at European level.
